Overview
The BBA (Industry Integrated)TM degree program has been conceived to fill the gap in the requirements of the corporate world vis – a – vis their front line executives and the abilities of the young graduates.

It was seriously felt that the fresh graduates lacked on understanding of the work culture and took a lot of time to adjust to their new surrounding at the work place. The industry meanwhile had to train them involving high costs in term of time & money. This led to the new recruit’s performance peaking at a much later stage resulting in dissatisfaction at both the employers and the employee’s levels.

To fill in the gaps between the industry’s requirements and our education system’s offerings this new Industry Integrated pattern has been brought forward. This methodology would allow our young undergraduates to actually experience real industrial environment while they pursue their graduation.

The students of this revolutionary undergraduate degree program would undergo industry internship / training for 3-4 days a week arranged by NIAM and attend regular teaching session in an approved Academic Partner of Gauhati University for 2 – 3 days in a week from the 2nd Semester till 6th Semester of the program. In the first semester, the student shall attend the regular teaching session for 5 days and shall undergo the In – House Training Program conducted by expert trainers for 6 days organized by NIAM.

On successful completion of this course, the graduates would be well equipped with the requisite knowledge, skills and experience to fulfill the responsibilities that their future employers might entrust them with. This would then lead to development of quality workforce thereby bringing higher levels of satisfaction amongst employees & employers

Program Details

Duration: The duration of this program is 3 academic years spread over 6 semesters. On successful completion of all the semesters the students will be awarded BBA (Industry Integrated)TM regular degree by Gauhati University, Guwahati.

Eligibility: 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board of education.

Medium of Learning: The medium of learning is English.

To cater for the various career choices that the 10+2 students might like to opt for, the following specializations are offered in this program:

Subjects

Fee Structure:
Program fee is Rs. 30,000/- per year (Rupees 15,000/- per semester) payable in two equal installments. The first installment of Rupees 15,000/- shall be paid immediately after the selection for admission to the first semester. However, one time registration fee of Rupees 500/- will be submitted through demand draft at the time of enrollment for entrance exam along with the registration form in favor of “Registrar, Gauhati University(IIP)” payable at Guwahati. For foreign candidates one time registration fees is Rupes.1000/-.
Demand draft of Rupees. 15,000/- drawn in favor of “Registrar, Gauhati University (IIP)” payable at Guwahati can be deposited in the approved Academic Partners of Gauhati University or NIAM.
The subsequent fee installment of Rupees 15,000/- shall be paid immediately after the completion of external examination of preceding semester or as per the date intimated by the University/NIAM.

Study Material
Students can purchase the study material by making the payment of Rupees 1,000/- per semester. The amount will be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of "National Institute of Applied Management", payable at New Delhi. The study material facility is optional for all the students.

Examination
The examination of 1st, 3rd and 5th semester shall be held in the month of December/January and for 2nd, 4th & 6th semester in the month of May/June or on dates fixed by the University. The amount of examination fee to be paid by a student for each semester examination shall be decided by the University from time to time. The examination fee shall be paid in favor of “Registrar, Gauhati University (IIP)” payable at Guwahati.

Students will be eligible for the semester end examination provided they are on the rolls of the Off Campus Learning Center and have attended not less than 75% of the total lectures delivered and 80% of the industry days allotted in the concerned semester.

Passing Criteria:

The minimum percentage of marks to pass the examination in each semester shall be:

A) 40% marks in each written paper
B) 50% marks in the Practical work and Training Report

In order to pass the course, a candidate must pass all the papers of all semesters as per the criteria mentioned above.

Award of Degree:

Successful candidates after 6th semester examination shall be arranged in four divisions on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained in his/her Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration (Industry Integrated)TM as under:
